The Lord is My Light

Psalm 27 vs.1: “The LORD is my Light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”

David knew Who God was and knew the Lord was his Light to guide him. There’s something significant. There is something very important that we have to keep in mind:

The Word of God is the Truth, and whatever God has said and has written in His Word is the absolute Truth.

Today, we will study a little bit about Light and its characteristics. That is going to tell us more about the God Whom we serve. We will see something essential about God and our relationship with God.

The more we know Him, the more we can understand Him, love Him, and serve Him better. The Apostle John wrote something that is very, very important concerning Light. David knew this, and he wrote this in the Psalms (Psa. 27 vs. 1).

1-John 1 vs. 5: “And this is the message that we have heard from Him…”

In the first part of this Epistle, Jesus Christ discusses what they witnessed from Jesus Christ when they were walking with Him and being taught by Him. Then John gets to the point...
